McGuire’s Hearing Centers is a proud supporter of the Help America Hear Foundation. Since 2009, McGuire’s Professionals have fit hundreds of hearing impaired individuals who couldn’t afford the cost of hearing aids. It is the philosophy of McGuire’s owner, David Carr, that “No one leaves our offices without better hearing, even if they can’t afford it!” David is also the co-founder of the Help America Hear Foundation which has helped provide hearing aids to more than 1500 people across the United States.
Since 2009, McGuire’s Hearing Centers has hosted two hearing aid missions each year on Long Island and the Bronx to help provide hearing aids to those who qualify. On October 19th, 2019, McGuire’s held its annual Help America Hear Day of Giving Hearing Aid Mission at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. The amazing Team of volunteers from McGuire’s and Montefiore fit 16 deserving individuals with free hearing instruments. As always, it was a day filled with kindness, generosity, appreciation and a reminder to everyone that hearing loss affects not only the individual, but also their entire family. Fitting someone with hearing aids is truly a family gift and we look forward to sharing that gift every year.
