Dispensing Audiologist

McGuire’s Hearing Centers is a successful and established practice seeking an experienced full-time Dispensing Audiologist who will be responsible for audiological evaluations and hearing aid fittings, follow-up care and providing the best solution for their hearing needs. McGuire’s Hearing Centers focuses on providing exemplary hearing health care to all patients throughout Long Island, NY.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Diagnostic Testing; Comprehensive Audiological Evaluations, Tinnitus Evaluations, Diagnostic OAEs, and ABR
  • Fit and dispense hearing instruments
  • Create the best patient experience through counseling and instruction
  • Perform outcome measures for fitting verification

Professional Requirements:

  • Education: Doctor of Audiology or Master’s Degree in Audiology
  • Current New York State Audiology License
  • Current New York State Hearing Aid Dispensing License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work independently and travel between offices when needed
  • Must interact professionally with patients and team members

Hearing Instrument Specialist

McGuire’s Hearing Centers is a successful and established practice seeking an experienced full-time Hearing Instrument Specialist who will be responsible for hearing aid evaluations and hearing aid fittings, follow-up care and providing the best solution for their hearing needs. Dawn and Kathy are always genuinely helpful, caring,, concerned, competent and all around excellent! Only complaint is the cost of the hearing aid insurance is very expensive and increases every year. The devices are expensive enough. This is a very costly additional expense.
